Lord, there are times when I feel desperately lonely. Even when I am surrounded by lots of other people I find myself longing for the company of someone who will really care for me and who understands me. If I try to follow you, will you really come and live with me? I need you, not just when the going is rough, but all the time. Please come - come and share in my happy times; come and support me in sad times; come when I'm stressed out. Assure me of your constant presence. Come, and calm my fears; come, and give me strength when I'm tempted to do wrong; come, and take away my loneliness. I can dream of nothing better than having you in my life and living as your friend all my days. But you promise not only to be with me all my life - you promise me that I will be in heaven with you as well! This is amazing! I am so grateful!.
